Today. Wednesday, October 31 our sophomores will participate in the Northern Valley Career Expo. The event is set to host more students and schools than ever recorded for this event. Over 1,700 from the area will participate. The event's inception came as a reaction to workforce needs. The event also exposes high school students to career opportunities in the region. The intent is to help inform students about potential career options so they are ready to make career choices when they graduate. More than 100 companies from the region will be at the Alerus Center to showcase their industries to students. The intention from the companies is to collaborate rather than compete.
